Outreach Services

WNPL’s Outreach Department is dedicated to providing library services outside the library building’s walls.

We have a bookmobile that visits 47 neighborhoods five days a week. The bookmobile offers:

• Materials for checkout, including:
  • Books
  • Magazines
  • Audiobooks
  • Audio Kits for children
  • DVDs
  • CDs
  • Playaways
• Loan periods:
  • DVDs and magazines, 2 weeks
  • All other bookmobile materials, 4 weeks
• Library services, including:
  • New library cards
  • Reserve materials
  • Interlibrary loan
  • Reader’s advisory services
  • Reading clubs for children
  • Neighborhood bookmobile visits (every two weeks)
  • Visits to pre-school, daycare, and senior sites
  • Stories in the Park
