Programming Policy Update

Due to the popularity of programs at the Warren-Newport Public Library District, and our desire to serve as many members of the community as possible, the library board of trustees has adopted a new programming policy that includes the following, effective June 1, 2010:

Many programs require advance registration. Because of increasing demand for certain programs, any person who registers for an event and does not attend that event or cancel his or her registration will be barred from registering for another program for a period of six (6) months following the third instance of non-attendance in a twelve-month period.
