Why Give?

Warren-Newport Public Library District extends the ideas, dreams, and hopes for our community beyond a budget primarily funded through property taxes. Your support bridges the divide between the library’s budget and the library’s greatest potential.

If you have questions about donating to the library, please contact:

Legacy Tree

The Legacy Tree is a permanent display recognizing the generosity of donors to the Warren-Newport Public Library. The tree offers friends, families, organizations, and businesses a way to honor, thank, memorialize, or acknowledge those who are worthy of special appreciation. The leaf colors and boulder sizes signify varying levels of contribution:

  • Bronze – $500
  • Silver – $1,000
  • Gold – $3,000
  • Small Boulder – $5,000
  • Large Boulder – $10,000

The Legacy Tree was donated in the memory of T. R. and Ruth McConnell by their daughter Carol Ruth McConnell in 1998.
