Bring your kids into the library on Monday, February 19, at 2 p.m. for our Movie Matinee. We will be showing Disney’s Robin Hood on our big screen and serving animal crackers to those who attend. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages as well. A raffle drawing will be held to win the DVD. All ages are welcome with an adult. No registration is required. This traveling museum provides a unique learning environment to explore the life of Jean Baptiste Pointe DuSable, who in 1779 established a permanent settlement in the place called “Eschikagou” (also known as Chicago).
