The Friends of WNPL raise money for the library through the Book Ends Bookstore, their used bookstore, and other projects. Book Ends is open for browsing during library hours, and is a wonderful place to find long-sought-after titles, as well as recent popular best-sellers. Book Ends is organized by reading level and genre, which makes it a pleasure to browse for your next great read!
The Friends also sponsor special Saturday book sales. All book sales are held from 10am-2pm in the meeting rooms.
The Friends of Warren-Newport Public Library appreciates every donation and recognizes that Book Ends would not exist without community support. To operate efficiently, we must use every donation to support the library, and, therefore, all items must be in good condition. Please remember, ”If you wouldn’t give it to a friend, please don’t give it to the Friends.”
Processing donations requires a lot of time and effort on the part of Friends volunteers. Please review the guidelines on this page to ensure that your donations are processed appropriately.
The Friends reserves the right to accept or decline donated books based on their condition and resale value.
