Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Warren-Newport Public Library is a group of community volunteers committed to supporting the library through fundraising, programming, and raising awareness of library services. The Friends share a belief that a good library is essential to the intellectual and cultural growth of the community.

The Friends raise money for the library through BookEnds, their used book store, and other projects.

Dates for 2022 Saturday book sales:

August 6 and November 12 from 10:00am-3pm in meeting rooms A&B

Friends 2022 meeting dates:

Thursday, August 25 (meeting room B), and Thursday, October 27 (meeting room A) at 1:00pm.

If you are interested in joining the Friends, please complete and return an application. Applications are available at the front desk and  online (PDF). Membership dues are as follows:

  • Individual (annual) : $5.00
  • Family (annual) : $25.00
  • Best Friend (annual) : $75.00
  • Friend for Life (lifetime): $250.00
