Finn’s girlfriend Layla disappeared at a rest stop 12 years ago. He’s always wondered what happened to her and whether or not she’s still alive. Still, she’s not here and he has to move on.
In the wake of the tragedy, Finn meets Layla’s sister Ellen who is very different from Layla but in a comforting way. Where Layla was free-spirited, Ellen is reserved. Finn clings to Ellen as she makes him feel closer to Layla. Eventually their relationship turns romantic.
But then they get engaged to be married. And suddenly, Finn starts receiving emails from Layla. Is she still alive or is this a trick? And if she IS still alive, which sister will he choose?
