The Warren-Newport Public Library Staff Association is sponsoring a sock tree as a community service through December 30. Look for the tree in the lobby. New socks will be donated to local social service organizations. Thank you for sharing the holiday spirit so generously!
The Community Care Connection, a mobile health unit from Rosalind Franklin University, visits WNPL Thursday, Dec. 7, 10am-1pm in the parking lot. Free flu shots and health screenings are offered for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, body mass and waist measurement.
