Congratulations! Every year, the Youth Media Awards are announced at ALA Midwinter Conference in January.  Because of the pandemic, the announcements were virtual. Check here to see a complete list of the award winners! How many have you read?

Caldecott Award Winner:

This book marks the first time in history Indigenous people are recognized with the award. The book was illustrated by Tlingit artist Michaela Goade and written by Carole Lindstrom of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe and tells the sstory of a young woman resisting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.
