Imagine a unique space in our library where people of all ages can come together to learn, create, and discover new things. A place filled with incredible tools and technology built for amazing projects that are only limited by your imagination. A destination that will bring our communities together to share knowledge and skills.
Last year, as part of the library’s strategic planning process, we talked with more than 1,000 members of our communities about services at the library. A space for art, crafts, and other creative projects was one of the most popular responses in the feedback received. Community members also indicated that they wanted more fun library programs and activities.
With your help, we can create a magical workshop that could include:
- Space for community members of all ages to learn in a welcoming environment
Additional maker equipment and technology to create wonderful projects, such as 3D printers, Cricut machines and sewing machines
- Access to knowledgeable and friendly staff for additional maker programming
Will you please consider making a gift to the Warren-Newport Public Library this year for the purpose of creating a wonderful maker space? Your gift will empower your neighbors to improve their lives–family and friends collaborating on fun, inventive maker projects, and community members enjoying creative ways to pursue lifelong learning with the latest technologies. WNPL’s goal is to raise $10,000 to help upgrade the current spaces.
As a valued supporter and patron of Warren-Newport Public Library, your donation will be extremely beneficial in helping your community and your library. Please consider making a gift today if you are able. There are multiple ways to help:
