An employee of Warren-Newport Public Library is under quarantine after exposure to a positive case of COVID-19. Upon notification, library administration initiated contact tracing protocols and instructed the staff member to immediately self-quarantine. In light of this information and in following the recommendations of the Illinois Department of Health, the Library building will close immediately. Library services will be unavailable until further notice.
Library services, such as Contactless Pickup and phone reference, as outlined in Tier 2 mitigations of the WNPL COVID Response Outline will be resumed when it is safe to do so.
