Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW) is recognized the first week of October, this year landing on Sun., Oct. 1 through Sat., Oct. 7, 2023.  

The theme for this year’s MIAW is “Together We Care. Together We Share.” At Warren-Newport Public Library we aim to enrich, empower, and enlighten the library community through our programs and services. To spread awareness in our community we’d like to spotlight local and national resources available to everyone. For specifics, each website and phone number has been listed below.
