Renewals

There are two ways to renew your library materials from outside the library. When using either method, please have your library card number (found on the back of your library card) available.

Renew your materials online: If you have not logged into our catalog yet, please do so by clicking on “My Account” on the upper right-hand corner of the library web site, or if, you are already in the catalog, by clicking on “Login” on the upper right-hand corner of the catalog main page (or, you may go directly from this page to the account login screen). You will be asked to login with your full library card number and PIN. If you have not yet established a PIN, try using your seven-digit phone number without the area code (Please note that you must use the phone number that WNPL has on file for you).

Once you have logged in, click on Checkouts on the left-hand side to see a list of items checked out on your library account. Click on “Renew All” to renew all items, or select certain items for renewal by clicking in the check box next to the title, then click on “Renew Marked”.

Use our 24 hour service voice automated system:. This system will allow you to renew materials, check on outstanding items, due dates, and fines. Access this service by dialing 847-244-5150, when prompted press 1 for our automated renewal system.

Please note: Any material with a hold placed on it may not be renewed. Browsing Collection materials (“Hot Picks” books and “Hot Flicks” DVDs) may not be renewed. All other materials, including feature film DVDs,  may be renewed three (3) times unless the material has a hold placed on it.
