Summer Reading Starts Now!

Read to Remember, summer, summer reading

As a community, we are trying to reach 750,000 minutes read this summer. Can you help us reach this goal?

Online registration for WNPL’s 2020 Summer Reading Program, Read to Remember, begins June 1. (Register online June 1 through June 14 to be entered into an early bird drawing for a $25 gift card!) Read to Remember will continue from June 15-July 31.

Try our summer reading app, Beanstack Tracker, to easily track your reading minutes & manage family reading logs on your mobile device! Available for Android and iOS. Download and print The Summer Reading Program instructions (available in English and Spanish language) here.

  • Kids & Teens (birth – 12th grade): Go on an adventure with WNPL this summer! Log your reading and activities to earn points, badges, and fun rewards along the way.  Finishers will get a coupon for a free slice of Portillo’s cake, a coupon for free ice cream at Culver’s, and an entry into a grand prize drawing!
  • Adults: All adult finishers get a raffle entry to win one of our fabulous grand prizes.

Warren-Newport Public Library’s Summer Reading School Trophy will be sheltering-in-place this year.  Rather than sponsoring a competition between schools, we applaud all the schools in our library district for the tremendous work being done by students, teachers, and administrators.  WNPL encourages students to keep reading over the summer!
